Arm balances can be empowering postures that teach us not only about our inner strength, but about our innate playfulness, courage, and our ability to create lightness and space. Students often over-rely on force when working on these poses, rather than understanding the mechanics and leverage of arm balances. Are you still developing the necessary strength and flexibility to practice these postures? This helpful workshop with Kat and Maria will teach you the necessary steps to come into the pose safely and with confidence.

Fear of the unknown can be a big obstacle that stands in the way of trying these invigorating and beneficial inversion poses. This workshop will slowly and precisely guide you through preparatory poses of classical inversions, and teach you how to develop the strength and confidence to attempt more challenging poses. Come expecting to sweat, laugh, play and fly!
